Today’s “Learn SEO Tip” deals with keywords in the website title. This is one of the most important aspects of on page SEO. Keywords that are placed inside the <title> tag show up in the search returns as the title of your website. If you look at the very top of your browser (IE or Firefox) you will see the title of the page of the website you are on. This is also what shows up at the website titles as you look down the page of search returns. It is best not to have a long title but it is important to include your keyword or primary search term with the keyword near the beginning of the title.

My primary search term for this blog and this article is “Learn SEO” and my secondary search term is “SEO Tips”. As you can see both are included in the title and as the search engines crawl this blog and this posting, the keywords should show up as a good ranked return.
